When can I sign up for Flood Insurance?

You can sign up for flood insurance at any time. However, there is a waiting period before
the coverage becomes in force. Make sure that you sign up early to avoid a lack of coverage.

Are appliances covered in my basement on my flood policy?

Most large appliances would be covered by your flood policy (Washers, Dryers,
Furnaces, etc.), however you should check with your agent as some appliances are excluded.
